Staffing Update

Dear Church Family,

I am writing this afternoon to share the news that Ben Wyman, our Director of Communications, will be stepping away from his role on our team.  Ben has accepted an amazing job opportunity that allows he and his wife, Jen, to move back to New Hampshire to be near his family.  His last day in the office will be April 22nd.

Ben has served faithfully on our staff for over 8 years, bringing creativity, beauty, and clarity to our work.  He has helped us skillfully navigate many transitions in the life of our church, always leading us to see things from a different perspective.  Ben has gone above and beyond, being present at events after hours to capture images and craft stories that help us share what God is up to through the church.  He brings joy to our day-to-day work, and his presence will be greatly missed.

Please join me in praying for Ben as he prepares to make this transition.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Lance

From Ben:

As the person who puts together the church emails, I can sneak in my own goodbye note before this one sends!
I want everyone to know that my time at First Methodist has been an absolute gift. To the untold number of people who have welcomed and supported me during my time here, please know that I am incredibly grateful for every moment I have had with you.
Serving Christ alongside this church family has been a joy, and I will miss all of you very much.
Yours faithfully,
Ben

Janet’s Last Sunday

This weekend will be Janet Galindo’s last Sunday here with us, and we’d like to invite you to write a short note of encouragement for her and drop it off on Sunday!

There’ll be cupcakes over by the nursery after the service, as we celebrate Janet’s time here and the many lives that she’s touched. We’ll have a box there to drop off notes for her as she continues on to her next endeavor.
