Dear Church Family,
I am writing today to share the news that Janet Galindo, our Children’s Ministry Coordinator, will be stepping away from her role on our staff to embrace a new career opportunity. Her last Sunday will be March 30th.
Janet has served faithfully in her position for the last 3.5 years, providing excellent support for our families through coordinating nursery care, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, special events and more. Many have learned from her excellent children’s messages in worship and she has helped us bridge our ministries from West Campus to Downtown. Janet has always gone above and beyond and has been an extraordinary blessing to us!
Janet wanted to share the following word with us:
“It has been an incredible privilege to serve alongside you all, and I am deeply grateful for the memories made with all of your kids and families, the friendships, and the support I’ve received during my time here. I will always cherish the experiences we’ve shared, and I look forward to seeing all the wonderful things that will continue to unfold at First Methodist Church.”
We will be sharing ways that we will be celebrating Janet soon. In the meantime, I hope you will join me in showing appreciation to Janet for her service to our church and in praying for her as she takes the next steps in her vocation.
