Pastors’ Lent Tuesday Study

At 12 PM every Tuesday during Lent, one of our pastors will be leading a special Lenten study in our Downtown Fellowship Hall space during the lunch hour.  

The series will be working through the book Witness At The Cross, by Amy-Jill Levine, where she studies the events of the Crucifixion from the perspective of those who watched Jesus die: Mary his mother; the Beloved Disciple from the Gospel of John; Mary Magdalene and the other women from Galilee; the two men, usually identified as thieves, crucified with Jesus; the centurion and the soldiers; Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. Jews and Romans, friends and strangers, the powerful and the powerless, the hopeful and the despairing.

Each week stands on its own – there’s no bad time to stop in for a first look! Listen to the teaching and join the discussion, and make new connections and friends.
