Genealogy was very important to the Jewish people. Beginning with Abraham, the list included well-known individuals such as Isaac, Jacob, Rahab, Ruth, David, and Joseph. God’s plan ran through history, linking His chosen people with His chosen Son.

Lord, thank You for Your plan that involved ordinary men and women, linked to the birth of Jesus. Thank You to our forefathers who passed the Faith on to us. Bless us as we give guidance to those who will inherit the torch from us.
