Scripture:
As for you Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity.

From a place too small to be listed among the clans of Judah, comes a miracle. Often, we think we are too small, too big, too shy, too outspoken, too untalented to be the catalyst for a miracle. We look inward to rate our worth and find it lacking. But God uses the least of us to bless the world. Scripture indicates this ruler has been around for eternity – who could it be but the Living God? Perhaps God chose you from the foundation of the world. Perhaps God has a purpose only you can fulfill.

Dear Lord, call us, empower us and use us for your Kingdom’s purpose. May Your church be a beacon in the night for those in need. May we listen attentively for your call. Give us strength for our mission. Send us forth into the world to bring light and joy to others.
