Scripture:
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.

When we come to Christ, we are transformed from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of light. The heavenly Kingdom begins in our hearts at that moment. It cannot be shaken. It is protected by God who is a “consuming fire.” Take time today to soak in the meaning of this word. Let it draw you to worship God for who He is, expressing thankfulness for this great gift.
Prayer:
God, You are a consuming fire and I sit before You in awe and reverence for who You are. Thank You for giving me a place in Your Kingdom.
