Scripture:

We live in a world struggling for peace. Competitiveness and demonization of the other (other persons and other ideas) seem to be the order of the day. What can we do to remedy this tendency? Let our every thought, word, and action reflect the love of Christ and God’s peace.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, grant us Your peace within the conflict, Your presence within the crisis, and Your calm within the storm. Inspire us to spread Your peace throughout the world. Open our minds to opportunities as citizens of Your realm, make us instruments through whom Your peace is present.
