Scripture:
The Helper is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him or know Him; but you know Him because He remains with you and will be in you.

You are a child of God. The Holy Spirit resides in you and has from the moment you accepted Christ into your life. You are never alone. Your life is infused with authority. Do you know that the Holy Spirit that resides in the apostles, in the saints, in your pastor, in the men and women whose faith you admire, is the same Holy Spirit that lives in you? Do you fully comprehend that you have the same power and strength in your prayer because it comes from the same source? You are called to exercise the power of the Holy Spirit through prayer. Do not be deceived into thinking that your prayer is not effective or good enough. There is only one Holy Spirit and He lives in the children of God. His power is released through your prayers.
Prayer:
Father, show us the authority that has been entrusted to us. Grant us wisdom in exercising the power of the Spirit through prayer. We humble ourselves before You. Thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit alive in us. Unify our congregation in Your Spirit.
