Day 63

Scripture:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”
– Jeremiah 29:11-12 (NIV)

This is such a comforting verse. God has a plan for us. That in and of itself is good news, but there is more. He plans to prosper us, to give us hope, and assure our future. Let’s take God at His word and stop trying to secure plans for ourselves. Then, we can be free from the emotional weight that demands the best of our attention, free to offer the resources of our interior to God, and free to see that He is listening.

Father, thank You that Your plans for us are more wonderful than what we hope for ourselves. Forgive us for trying to secure our own future. Help us
