When we are going through difficult times, it is hard to see the road ahead. We grasp for quick answers on our own and manufacture anxiety. God’s word, like a flashlight in the dark, helps us see where we are and what is ahead. Instead of tossing and turning at night, trying to solve your own problems, tell Him, “I can’t do this Lord, I need Your light to show me the way”.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your Word. Use it to light my path, and help me to understand my next step. I love You all my heart and mind, I desire Your word above my own wisdom. Shine a light on the path You want me to take.
