Day 50

“Untold millions are still untold.”
― John Wesley

Scripture:
How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?

– Romans 10:14 (NASB)

In His sovereign wisdom, God designed communication of the good news to humanity to be delivered by a human vessel. He used Peter to reach the household of Cornelius, the Roman Centurion (Acts 10), Ananias to reach Saul of Damascus who later became Paul (Acts 9:10-19), and someone to reach you. There are still millions of people in our world today in need of hearing the gospel, and they can only hear the good news of Christ’s available salvation if there is someone there to be a preacher to them.

Prayer:
Lord, I pray for missionaries, pastors, other servants, even myself, who strive to proclaim the good news of Christ’s gracious salvation. Please strengthen Your servants today and provide us with all the resources we need to continue to faithfully preach the gospel, and give us a spirit of faithfulness so that we remain steadfast in serving You.
