Scripture:
Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning, For you have been my refuge And a place of refuge on the day of my distress. My strength, I will sing praises to You; For God is my refuge, the God who shows me favor.
– Psalm 59:16-17
When David was discouraged, he prayed to God. When he was distressed, he knelt at His feet.
When he didn’t have the strength to fight, David praised God. Who is your refuge through times of troubles? Go to the Lord now and pour out your heart.
Prayer: Father, thank You for carrying and protecting me through hard times. I trust You to be my shield and rest. You are my guiding light.
Petition: For God to encourage our church members and those we are serving, when they are discouraged. For us to be God’s messenger to the hurting and realize the opportunities He is providing.
