Scripture:
Search me, God and know my heart;Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there is any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.
– Psalm 139:23-24
Ask God to search your heart. Only He knows your deepest fears and desires. If you pay attention to His Spirit, God will reveal hidden sins of which you are unaware. Confess them as He does and thank Him for the opportunity to learn and make changes.
Prayer: Father, we want You to be Lord over every area of our lives. Show us the sins that are hindering our walk with You and others. Prune us and make us more fruitful that we may accomplish Your will.
Petition: That we will all become more sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and our sinful and hurtful thoughts and actions. That once aware, we will have the strength and humility to confess and repent of them.
