Scripture:
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

Has worrying about a future situation ever improved the outcome? Has worrying about something ruined your day? Worry takes our focus off God and does little, if anything, to positively affect our life or our future. Jesus tells us to seek God and we will be cared for.
Prayer: Dear Lord, help us to keep our eyes on You and not worry about our earthly situations. We rejoice in the hope of Your eternal love.
Petition: For the children who will attend VBS this week. That they will be safe and draw close to God in worship and in their interactions with others. For God to soften their hearts to Him.
