Scripture:
The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.
– Lamentations 3:25
Wait on the Lord. Are there petitions that you have before the Lord that require you to wait on Him? What can you do during this time? The author of Lamentations says seek Him. That looks different for all of us, but consider time in prayer, time listening to God, time praying with those you love and those for whom God prompts you to pray.
Prayer: Dear God, we know that You continuously send the world Your peace, Your wisdom, and Your power. Help me to wait before You and learn how to be on Your agenda. I need You.
Petition: For God to bless the children who attended Vacation Bible School last week. That He would grow what was sown and watered in their souls and protect them from evil.
