Scripture:
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, thought the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Even in times of hardship, when we feel beaten down and nothing seems to be working out, we can rejoice in the Lord. We can have joy because our joy is not based on things going our way. If our joy is based on our circumstances and comfort, we live a hollow faith and never know the joy of the Lord. Rejoice today no matter your circumstances. Give your praise to God for His faithfulness.
Prayer: Father, thank You for loving us. We give You our hardships and circumstances. Our trust and joy reside in You alone and not in our ease or comfort. Help us exercise our faith in You through these challenging times. We love You.
Petition: For everyone struggling to pay bills and find food and resources during these challenging times. For God to give us wisdom on our role and how to respond and serve others in need. That God will use the struggles to help us all depend on Him and for many to come to faith in Him.
