Scripture: Beloved let us love one another, for love springs from God and He who loves us is born of God; and is progressively coming to know God; to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him.

Because God loves us, we have the capacity to love. We experience the love of parents, friends, children, and our spouse because God is Love. This scripture also indicates that because we love God, we will seek Him to know Him and thus better understand God.
Prayer: Please let us know love and give love. Lord, we want to grow in knowledge of You. Show us where we need to share Your love so that others may know You.
Petition: Let each Sunday School Class and small group in our church be a circle of love and light as they study the Word of God. Let our church be a beacon of love for anyone who needs nurturing.
