Scripture:
The true light that gives light to everyone is coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.

Can this be said of me? Do I know Jesus and His character enough to recognize Him? Or have I created my own image (idol) of Jesus? Examine your heart and let the Spirit lead you to truth. Confess your sin to God and work to know Jesus.
Prayer: Jesus, I’m sorry for creating You in an image I desire. I repent of old thinking and commit to getting to know You. Please reveal Yourself to me.
Petition: For the Shepherd’s Staff volunteers who faithfully serve each week. That they will be blessed with more understanding of God and be encouraged in their service.
