How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For their the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.

When we live together in unity, God pours out His blessing. How do we live in unity with others? We begin with humility. Recognizing that we do not know everything or have the monopoly on the truth but that God created us unique but interdependent. When we recognize that we have a lot to learn from others, we can be humble and teachable and that brings unity and the blessing of life.
Prayer: Father, I confess my pride and arrogance before You. Create a humble character within me. Help me to value other people. Use them to help me become more like You. Help me be patient and humble and desire to listen, learn and seek to live in harmony with others.
Petition: For the choirs and worship leaders. That they will be drawn into God’s presence and be led by His spirit as they lead the congregation each week. That they will be protected from evil and distractions that would steal their first Love. For inspiration and encouragement.
