Scripture:
Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. For you are just a vapor that appears for a little while, and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”

Never leave God out of your plans. Include Him in every decision you make. Our loving Father cares about every aspect of our lives and He will give us His insight if we ask. In the center of God’s will, NOT our will is the best place to be.
Prayer: Father, You have our devotion. Forgive us when we move on our own strength. Forgive our arrogance when we do not ask for Your will. Humble and align us with Your will.
Petition: For the Quillian summer staff and campers. For their safety and protection. That they will experience God’s love in their interaction with us. That they will be drawn into a deeper relationship with God as they hear His word in their chapel and devotional times.
