Scripture:
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

As Christians, we have a clear direction to resist becoming overconfident or boastful about our own strengths. Through Christ we have access to the greatest power in the universe; compared to Him, we are powerless. By our faithful reliance on Christ, we are stronger than we could ever be alone.
Prayer: Jesus I am grateful to have a relationship with you. Please be with me as I struggle to remain reliant on Your strength rather than my own. I know much of the world applauds people that are strong, self-reliant, and confidence, but I strive to be different and let your glory shine through me.
Petition: For the Strategic Mapping Team to rely on God’s strength and guidance as they work to lead the church. This is God’s church and without His direction, we are lost.
