He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

“In its time.” An important message for societies that live with everything on demand. But God’s ways are not our ways and if we demand that God act in our time, we put ourselves in the place of God. God made everything beautiful in its time and we cannot fathom what God has done and is doing. Confess your sin of control to Him and get back on His timetable.
Prayer: Lord, I confess my controlling spirit. I have connived to get my own way. Thank You that even with knowledge of my shortcomings, you set eternity in the hearts of your children. Help us to wait on Your timing and act when You reveal Your will.
Petition: For us to repent from demanding our own way. For God to help us see things from His perspective and focus on Him instead of what we want Him to do for us.
