Do you know people who are carrying a heavy load? How can we help to lighten their burdens? The Lord asks us to join Him in reaching out to those who are hurting. He delights in watching us tend to “those bent beneath their loads.” Just a little of our time can make a huge difference and, in the process, Jesus is glorified.
Prayer: Dear God, give me eyes for those who are overburdened. Use me as Your instrument as You lift them from brokenness and despair. Make yourself known in the restoration of Your children.
Petition: The people of Haiti carry the heavy burden of poverty. Pray for the Mission of Hope as they minister to the children and adults in our village of Source Matelas. Pray that the children will still be able to be fed and taught even though funds have decreased. Pray for the leaders to make wise decisions for the welfare of the people.
