Scripture:
He will always give you all you need from day to day if you will make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.
– Luke 12:31 (The Living Bible)
“I don’t have enough time for devotions! I don’t have enough time to read my Bible. As a matter of fact, I don’t have time to come to church because I am so busy!” Sound familiar? The crazy, busy world we live in vies for all our attention. The fact is we have 24 hours in a day. How we spend those hours says a lot about us. When we commit to our devotion time each day, we discover the truth of this Scripture. When we value God’s Word enough to give it a high priority, we learn that God will provide for the other hours of the day. How are you using your time?
Prayer: Lord, the world is screaming at me and needs my attention. My family needs me. Yet, I know that if I begin my day with Your Word, You will take care of the rest of the day. Thank you, Lord, and help me to always put You first.
Petition: For our ministry in Myanmar. For the children and the staff of the children’s home to be protected and hidden from the military. That they will have food to eat and the ability to carry on with their studies and for their mental and emotional health, living through war. Also, for those in the city for whom we are caring. For their protection from the military and the war surrounding them each day.
