Day 205

Scripture:

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

— Isaiah 43:2

If you devote time daily to be in the presence of the Lord, it will become as natural as breathing. Without His breath flowing through you, life is suffocating. The Lord is strengthening you and preparing you for the storm. No matter how daunting the challenge that stands before you, it won’t drown you, nor burn you. God is standing beside you.

Prayer: Father, without grace, my life does not merit that I stand in Your presence, yet here I am. Nothing is too hard for You. Thank You for your never-ending love that surrounds us in time of need and shields us from the storm.

Petition: For our congregation as we face difficult times together. For us to see God working out His plan in the hard times. For us to remember that we are Christ’s workmanship, called for His purposes and not our own. For us to stop talking before we are quiet before the Lord. For every member to be drawn to repentance and to take comfort that God is with us and we are not alone.
