Scripture:
“But you must return to your God; maintain love and justice, and wait for your God always.”
— Hosea 12:6
These are simple instructions that are hard to live out. God calls us to do more than we are capable and then gives us His Spirit to do the impossible. Return to God. Maintain love and justice. Wait always for God.
Prayer: Father, please welcome me back to You. I confess my dependence on You alone. Help me to love like You love. Help me to see others with eyes of justice. I will wait for You, always. I love you.
Petition: For each church member to exercise self-discipline to walk humbly and not give in to the temptation to become proud or arrogant. For us to seek God’s face and ask Him to lead us to discover His will for His church.
