Scripture:
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. – Psalm 91:1
How do you define success? The secular world defines it by the things we own and the money our bank accounts. Yet, there is never enough to satisfy us. We crave more and more. Pursuing success is like chasing the wind. We will never seize it, nor will we find rest. A child of God chases after God Himself. Success is found when we are living in the center of God’s will. No matter where you are in life, very high or very low, there you will find joy and contentment.
Prayer:
Father God, I pray that You cover me under the shadow of Your wings so I may experience Your peace. Help me to dwell in Your shelter so that I will rest in Your shadow. Allow my spirit to be unsettled when I pursue my own desire that takes me out of Your will.
