Persistence is an important part of our prayer life. When we don’t get the answer we want, when we want it, we often give up. God asks us to “go on asking until it’s the right time to get an answer.” (Jill Briscoe – Prayer that Works)
Prayer: Dear God, help me remain faithful in my petitions to You. When troubles come my way, don’t let them stop me in my tracks. Let them drive me to You. I want to remain persistent and wait for Your response. Whatever Your answer, I know it will be for Your glory.
