Scripture:
“I am under vows to you, my God; I will present my thank-offerings to you. For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.”
– Psalm 56:12-13
If we have committed our lives to God, we are in covenant with Him. Similar to the covenant of marriage, we are under vows to God. It is out of this covenant that we find safety and confidence. We are free to live in thankfulness. God has delivered us from death and keeps us steady that we may walk before Him in the light of life.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for initiating a covenant with me. I vow my life in covenant with You. Thank You for loving me and keeping my feet steady. Please draw me near to You and reveal more of Yourself to me.
