Scripture:
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy, He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.”
– 1 Peter 1:3
There are few things in this life that never perish, spoil or fade. However, through Christ’s death and resurrection, we have hope. Our new birth into this living hope will never perish, spoil or fade, no matter what. It is always there for us. We might have to tap back into it when we forget to stay connected through prayer, scripture reading, and talking with the Holy Spirit, but it is always there. Praise be to God!
Prayer: Father, we praise You! May we always remember Your promise of living hope in our lives, through Jesus Christ. Give us the wisdom and discipline to order our lives in such a way that we always stay connected to that living hope.
