Scripture:
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”
– Psalm 23:5
We can be confident, even in the face of opposition or oppression because God is the one who gives us confidence. Our trust is in Him and not in ourselves or others. Our cup will overflow with goodness and blessing because He has anointed us, no matter how the circumstances may seem.
Prayer: Father, thank You for blessing me before my enemies or those who oppose or oppress me. My trust and confidence are in You, not in myself or my understanding of the situation. I love You.
