Scripture:
“The Lord God has given me the tongue of disciples, so that I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens me morning by morning.”
– Isaiah 50:4
God has given you the tongue of a disciple, to speak kind and gracious words to everyone you encounter. The world continues to experience extreme turmoil, and many have gone through difficulties. One kind word might give hope to a person that you didn’t know was weary and in need of encouragement. God will instruct you what to say. Spend time with Him and listen.
Prayer: Father, thank You for giving us instruction with our words. Help us practice Col 4:6 “Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person”. We love You, Father, and thank You for Your perfect teaching.
