Scripture:
“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

As we strain toward what is ahead, we lean into God’s vision for our discipleship. We do this individually and as a church. This year, let’s keep our focus on the goal God has set for us in the name of Christ Jesus.
Prayer: Dear God, please give us Your vision for what is ahead for our church. Give us the energy to press on toward the goal You have set for us.
