Scripture:

The Bible teaches us that the Lord loves our attention. He cherishes our pursuit of Him. Examine your heart today. Is there anything that has been elevated to an idol in your life? Is there anything that has taken God’s rightful place in your heart? Today is the day to make a commitment and resolve to follow the Lord wholeheartedly. Cling to Him.
Prayer: Lord, remove anything that is standing in the way of a deeper relationship with You. I enthrone You as Lord of my heart today. May my attention ever remain on You.
