Day 128

Scripture:
“Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.”

– Isaiah 40:31 (NASB)

Have you wondered how birds can migrate thousands of miles and never get tired of flapping their wings? Birds seek out and glide the thermal current which allows them to soar effortlessly with little resistance. How about you? Do you seek out God’s leading or do you try to figure things out on your own? Without God’s direction, you will be flapping your wings to a point of physical and mental exhaustion.
If you wait on Him, He will lead you. Like an eagle recognizes the timing of the thermal wind, you will recognize God’s timing for your life. His timing is perfect, and it will give you strength.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the beautiful image of an eagle soaring in the sky. Help us see Your guiding hand and soar through life on the wings of Your perfect Word.
