Scripture:
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah. In those days and at that time I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line; he will do what is just and right in the land.”

God tells us of the promise of being sent through the miracle of Jesus Christ. Jesus will execute justice and righteousness. He will do it. As we wait on Him for restoration, we are called to live as practitioners of justice and righteousness. This requires we take time to pause from our busy lives so we may pray and listen. God will reveal His role for us.
Prayer:
Lord, may we remember that You will bring justice and righteousness. Help us listen to Your prophets. Teach us to be like You. May we pause and pray as You have taught us, and seek Your justice and righteousness.
