God is relentless in His pursuit of us. It’s hard to imagine that His beauty and love chase after us every day, but it’s true. There is no better time to let this scripture sink in than during Advent. If we will take the time to look, beauty is everywhere. Jesus came to bring light to the world. God’s love is revealed in a tiny baby and comes alive in us each time we remember the Christmas story: God so loved us that He sent us His son.
Prayer:
Dear Lord of light and love, help us to see things differently this Advent Season. Fill our hearts with Your light and Your love, and Lord, keep chasing after us all the days of our lives so we may dwell in Your presence forever.
