Day 100

Scripture:
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep darkness, on them light has shined. You have multiplied the nation, you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest, as people exult when dividing plunder.

– Isaiah 9:2-3 (NRSV)

When do you usually use a flashlight? Probably when it is the darkest and you need to see. Often, we tend to forget that the light of God is always present with us. The light of God is especially prevalent when the darkness seems to cover the whole world. We are called to be stewards of the light of God while we wait for the coming Messiah. Who can you be a flashlight to in this world today?

Prayer:
Lord leads us on paths that show the light You have filled us with to others. May we be consistent in being bright in the hope provided through Your promises. We will always rejoice in You.
