You’ve heard of the “ripple effect.” Just as a pebble dropped in the water causes ripples, what we do in the Children’s Ministry causes ripples. What we do each week impacts the children directly, who impact their families and friends, and so on.

 Ripple Children’s Ministry is about loving children, making disciples, and equipping families.

• When and where is Sunday School?: 
      o Sunday School begins at 9:15 am in the Wesley Academy Education Building.
   
• Why should my child attend Sunday School?: 
       o In Sunday School, children learn Bible stories, play games, make crafts and
         more. The lessons are age-appropriate and applicable. Children leave with
         activities to reinforce what they have learned at home. Sunday School provides
         children with the chance to understand Bible stories and to learn how to apply
         the Bible principles in their lives.
   
• Where do I check my children in for Sunday School?
      o Infants – 2-year-olds: Check in at the Welcome Desk in the Lobby
      o 3-year-olds –Kindergarten: Check in at Room 136 in the hallway
      o 1st – 5th Graders: Check in at Room 149 in the hallway
   
• What happens after Sunday School?:
      o Following Sunday School, 1st-5th Graders can be picked up to join their families
         for the Worship Service. They may attend Children’s Choir (in the Music Suite)
         once the music in Worship has finished.
      o Infants – Kindergarteners are invited to stay for more fun and learning until the
         Worship Service is over.

• 3rd Grade Bible Presentation: All 3rd Graders receive a brand new Bible.
   
• 4th/5th Grade Retreat: This is a weekend getaway for preteens to dive into learning and have fun with friends, camp-style.
   
• Fall Festival: This is a church-wide event complete with Trunk-or-Treating, games, crafts, inflatables, and more!
   
• Wonderland in Westchase: This is a church-wide event that provides families with a chance to celebrate Christmas in a big way.
   
• Easter Eggstravaganza: Just before Resurrection Sunday, we partner with Quillian Center to offer this fun family event.
   
• Vacation Bible School: This is a full week of fun, biblical learning built around an exciting theme!
   
• Pool Parties: Ripple Children’s Ministry hosts several pool parties throughout the Summer.
